What Sam becomes by robinv, 2009-08-14 10:12:49
EDITOR: So Sam lives without Dean for six months and turns into his father! A machine, an automaton who kills evrey supernatural creature in his path while searching for the thing that caused his brother to be killed--the Trickster. Does this Sam surprise you? Is this what you expected? How scary was this Sam, sewing up his own wounds, killing entire nests of vampires? Do you think this is what would really happen to Sam if he lost Dean?

Is Ruby right? by robinv, 2009-08-18 08:49:16
EDITOR: Frankly, I think Ruby is full of crap. I think Lilith would have sussed out the police station whether there was one demon survivor or not, and everyone there would have ended up dead, anyway. Sam and Dean do NOT deserve Ruby's guilt trip! This is one of those deals that comes down to the rights of one vs. the rights of many. There is no way Dean or Victor would have allowed Nancy to sacrifice herself for the needs of the many, even if Sam was toying with the idea. This is the Sam under Ruby's influence.

Lilith by robinv, 2009-08-18 08:56:14
EDITOR: My heart sank when the pretty kid said who she was. Tall one and cute one? LOL, I guess that's how a little girl would see the Winchesters. Those white eyes are terrible. Lilith is a scary little thing. This episode is fantastic, at least in this editor's humble opinion.

Great fight scenes/sound system by robinv, 2009-08-18 09:20:04
EDITOR: This was one of the most exciting fight scenes ever. Quick cuts, superb music, excellent action, with excellent sound. I believe the sound guy was nominated for an Emmy for this ep. He lost, but he deserved it. The plan worked beautifully, and there is nothing finer than listening to Sam's amazing voice performing an exorcism in Latin. Jared always nails that!

Ruby, that * by robinv, 2009-08-18 11:34:45
Ruby *ed me off for "telling" on Sam. I do not believe she would suggest a solution that would kill her! She would never sacrifice herself! That Dean can't even imagine a pretty girl staying a virgin by choice just doesn't seem right. Just because he's a total hound doesn't mean a girl can't choose to be a good girl. On the other hand, I remember so many stories written about Dean taking her virginity and making her regret waiting so long! LMAO!

Corbett saves them all! by robinv, 2009-08-20 11:36:25
How cool is it that Corbett ends up saving the lives of everyone, including Dean and Sam? Of course, Ed was able to make him believe he loved him, which was the catalyst that made it all happen. Still, did you cry just a little bit during Harry's imp*ioned speech, or laugh till you cried. Go be gay for that poor, dead intern? LMAO!

Ed and Harry - smug geniuses or what? by robinv, 2009-08-20 11:38:40
Do you like them? Hate them? Smug as they are, do they deserve fame and fortune? Were they right in using Corbett as they did? They did with him exactly what Sam said they did. Used him! It was sort of touching, but clearly they were using the boy, too! Poor Corbett! Little did he know!

Were Sam and Dean right? by robinv, 2009-08-20 11:40:14
Should they have allowed the Ghostfacers to send their little tape around? With Sam and Dean on it, yet? What could be the repercussions, both for the world AND Sam and Dean?

Ghostfacers theme song by robinv, 2009-08-20 11:41:05
Like it? Don't like it?

Soul sucking son of a *! by robinv, 2009-08-23 08:10:05
I guess you could say the crocotta was a sub-contractor, getting others to kill for him so he could just come along and collect the souls, but I felt terrible for that poor man being led to believe his little girl\'s killer was going to be at his house (by his dead daughter, yet). And Dean was led there by his dead father under an equally false pretext. Clark didn\'t care which of them died, or both, as long as he could come along after and suck out the soul. From Clark\'s point of view, an excellent idea, but so cruel from ours.

Urban legends come to life! by robinv, 2009-08-26 11:24:47
This is one of the cl*ic urban fears--waking up in a motel in a bathtub filled with ice--and your kidney missing! With someone like Doc Benton running around, you have to be in fear for all your organs, but certain removals result in death.
-
How chilling is this? by robinv, 2009-08-26 11:31:42
How very creepy was this scene? The guy monitors his heart rate as he jogs, and we get to monitor it through his terror, struggles, and finally, after Doc Benton removes it from his chest and disconnects it from his body, how it stops completely and goes to zero. Brrrrr!
-
Morality, Inc. by robinv, 2009-08-26 11:56:35
What are the mornal implications of what Doc Benton has been doing? Can you really see Dean and Sam living through the ages, having to murder others in order to keep their bodies going?
-
S* leave by robinv, 2009-08-27 07:50:10
So this is what Lilith does for fun--takes over the body of a beloved child and "plays" with the family like a cat and mouse. She kills the babysitter and family pet, threatens the rest of the family and terrorizes them all.

Season 3 cliffhanger! by robinv, 2009-08-29 12:16:24
Yes, they sent Dean to hell! We didn't think they would, but Eric Kripke, that magnficent SOB, did it, and for tnat entire summer, we were CRAZED! We figured Dean had to be coming back, but what if Jensen Ackles wasn't, for some reason? That's one of the greatest things about SUPERNATURAL--they are not afraid to go THERE!

The way Dean treated Sam by robinv, 2009-09-06 08:32:00
I found it very offensive when Dean tossed Sam's Ipod into the back seat. Sam had the car for four months and thought his brother gone forever. How long has Sam listened to his brother's music? I thought it unnecessarily cruel that Dean just dismissed Sam and his music that way. It was a nasty diss and it bothered me. Funny on the surface, yes, but not when I really thought about it.

Castiel by robinv, 2009-09-06 18:28:25
It's been Sam who prays, we've known that since the earlier seasons, and Dean who never believed in angels after his mother was murdered by the YED. So this good-looking angel, who shows up, rescues Dean from hell, and tells him GOD has work for him to do is certainly one of the most fascinating characters to join this cast in a long time. Pamela Barnes was also wonderful, and her flirtation with both brothers a total delight. What a bang-up start to the new season! While S3's first ep, "Magnificent Seven," left a lot of viewers lukewarm, this one began the new season with a bang. Very few people didn't embrace it, and think it a wonderful beginning. Of course, there were those who said, "Angels? Why do we need angels?" Hey, we've had demons for three seasons, doesn't it seem fair to bring it some good guys, too? Like angels? Mary told Dean angels were watching over him. Perhaps, in the form of Castiel, this was true. How did you feel about what Castiel did to Pam? She wouldn't stop. Did she get what she deserved? Should she have backed down when he told her to?

Dean was shaken not too lightly and sent to hell by robinv, 2009-09-07 18:59:31
"You Shook Me All Night Long" by AC/DC, one of Dean's most cherished cl*ic bands, was used as the backound song for the lengthy round of clips summing up season 3. It was a perfect tune to show how the boys used their time kicking demon butt while trying--and failing--to find a way out of Dean's deal. Sadly, despite Sam's vow to "save your * for once," Dean was ripped up and killed by Lilith's hellhounds and his soul sent to hell.

Sam and Ruby by robinv, 2009-09-08 17:07:38
Which leads to the question, what IS Sam doing with Ruby? At this point in the season, we didn't know, and wondered what Meg was talking about.

Dean's 'tude toward Castiel by robinv, 2009-09-08 18:24:59
How scary was Castiel when he warned Dean to have respect or be sent back to hell? Brrr! I thought Misha Collins a wonderful actor. Given that the angel really doesn't show much emotion, he sounded like a hit man, warning Dean that way! Dean is dissing God, dissing Castiel himself, he's so arrogant. If he wanted respect, Castiel should have showed up to Sam, I think. What do you think?

Is Dean deserving? Why does he have self-esteem issues? by robinv, 2009-09-08 20:06:53
Last time Dean asked Sam for pie, he ended up losing him to a knife in Cold Oak. Kind of gave me the shivers, just hearing the request. How about this angel/God discussion? Dean still has self-esteem issues, doesn\'t think he\'s good enough to be rescued by an angel or singled out by God. What do YOU think?

Do they have the right? by robinv, 2009-09-09 07:24:29
Does Meg--or indeed any of these spirits--have a right to be so *ed off?

Mitch Pileggi by robinv, 2009-09-09 17:08:23
Mitch Pileggi as Samuel Campbell is a gem. I loved him! Gruff, yes, but he loved his wife and daughter, and you can see where the hunter line came from. Not the Winchesters, but the Campbells! How surprising is that?

What makes the difference? by robinv, 2009-09-09 17:10:48
"What Is and What Can Never Be" showed Dean what happened when he and Sam didn't save people, and he reluctantly returned to his old life to prevent that. Here, the same thing would have happened, but in order to save his parents, he would have allowed innocents to die. What makes the difference here?

Mary and her son, Sam by robinv, 2009-09-09 17:12:53
How weepy did you get, hearing that Mary didn't want this life for her kids? Who was she echoing? Sam, at Stanford, wanting "normal"? Both of them were doomed not to get what they wanted, at least not for long. How sad is that?
