While the group is making their last diorama for anthropology class, Troy's monkey shows up, steals a paintbrush, and disappears into a vent. Chang follows him and finds a pile of the group's things.

The group accuses Jeff and Britta of constantly putting their own interests in front of everyone else's.

Jeff and Britta retaliate by bringing up times when other group members put their own needs first.

Annie asks Jeff what's been going on between them all year and mentions every longing look or other such moment they've had. Jeff says she reading too much into it, and that the same logic could apply to Pierce and Abed.

Jeff's point is illustrated in a romantic montage between Abed and Pierce.

Dean Pelton bursts in with irrevelant news and the group remembers every time he wore a dumb costume to deliver such news.

Jeff explains that it's good that they're getting these things off their chests so they'll never fight again. Abed points out that they've tried that before. They remember past fights they've had about fighting until Troy snaps and screams while his nose bleeds. Abed's solution is that they just go about their own business. just as they start to, Chang bursts out of the vent.

Jeff tells the others that together they can and will survive anything. They reconcile. After they leave, Chang tries to find solace in Troy's monkey.
