Then they realize that Pierce isn't there but just as they suspect that he's dead, he walks in. Britta finds a brunette hair on Jeff's jacket and forces him to admit that he's been seeing someone. Jeff is reluctant to share any more, much to the disappointment of the group.

Jeff introduces Professor Slater to the group as the woman he's been seeing but makes them promise not to tell anyone. Britta reveals that she's been learning to ap dance and invites them all to the recital. The group teases her for it, so Troy doesn't share his own secret. Then, although no one except Professor Slater has left the library, Dean Pelton asks to see Jeff in his office because the news of the relationship is all over Twitter. It is suspected that Pierce did the Twittering.

Jeff also congratulates Britta and mentions that if it weren't for her teaching him to have a girl as a friend, he wouldn't have been ready to have a girlfriend. He gives her some flowers, but it's obvious Britta's upset. When the stage is finally empty, Abed performs his own impressive tap dance routine.
