As Abed wraps up his movie, Shirley arrives with the Dean to shut down filming due to a complaint about making a Christian movie in a secular school. However, Abed points out that the messiah in his film is named Abed, not Jesus, and therefore not about Christianity. He offers to show an early version to the Dean and Shirley's complaint is dropped.

Car Crash

One of the hipsters, Richard, forgets who and where he is and this time, he's not doing it to fool anyone. He makes a minor dent in the dean's car by hitting a light post. The others run out of the car and leave him, but Pierce stays behind to ask if he's okay. Richard asks who the people who ran away are and if they're his friends. This makes Pierce think.

SHIRLEY

Abed sees the first cut of the film and hates it. He asks God to send a disaster to destroy it, but nothing happens. Shirley hears this and pities him. She comes into the cafeteria and smashes the tapes and equipment with a bat. Her expression lets Abed know she did it for him.

Pierce's Dad

After being called to pick Pierce up from the dean's office, Jeff demands that he be removed as Pierce's emergency contact. However, once he sees that no one's picking up Leonard and the woman at the desk says that's why he is the way he is, Jeff changes his mind and brings Pierce home.
